Junior Sales Associate

Job Description: Business Development

Job Summary: An exciting opportunity for an energetic, dynamic self starter within the software services industry. If you are results driven and a go-getter with a successful sales history, this position is for you. We are willing to look at individuals with successful sales history who have a general knowledge of business process. You do not have to have software specific selling skills to apply for this job. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast growing industry with one of the hottest applications today. You must be willing to cold call and manage the complete sales process, including creating and delivering presentations as well as generating proposals. Closing and B2B skills are critical.

Your primary focus will be selling Salesforce.com services to new clients.

Principal qualifications:

  • Any graduate with either a business or technical degree that has a flair for sales
  • Should be results oriented and a team player
  • Good personality with go-getter attitude
  • Energetic and hard working
  • General computer skills and good writing ability
  • Knowledge related to web based solutions, software as a service and other IT solutions is a plus, but not required
  • Salesforce.com or other SFA system knowledge a real plus
  • Good communication and listening skills a fundamental requirement

    Experience: 2 years (or more) with a proven successful track record in sales

    Compensation: Base salary plus commission

    Developer/Database Administrator

    Job Description: Software Development and Database Management

    Job Summary:

    Developer responsibility - develop and maintain software applications based complex customer specifications. Looking for a mid-level to experienced developer with specific experience in web development technologies. Competent in design, architecture and implementation of systems.

    DBA responsibility - maintain the operational state of our databases. The ideal candidate would be a mid-level DBA with experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL and Postgres. Duties include database creation, administration, performance, scripting and tuning; data modeling experience helpful.

    Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design, development and maintenance of web based applications
  • Implement complex software requirements
  • Database administration for multiple applications and platforms
  • Occasional off-hours and weekend production support
  • Day to day database support
  • Communication with project management, software developers and testers
  • Attendance at project team meetings and provide status on assigned components as needed

    Qualifications (Required):

  • Three plus years of applicable work experience
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function alone or as part of team
  • Oracle, Microsoft SQL and Postgres experience
